No matter how old you are, there is a class for everyone. With six different classes we are sure you will find one that you like and have the need to learn more about the bible leassons. Each class goes over the same material but built around the age group that you are in, which of these lessons go along with and goes deeper into the church sermons.
The Adult class is studying the book of Colossians. Paul is writing to the Church at Colosse to counter specific problems within the church. We are learning from Paul that Jesus Christ is enough. Jesus I God, the fullness of God, the One who made the world, the reason that everything exists. All the mystery and treasure and wisdom you could ask for are found in the person of Jesus Christ; there is no need to look elsewhere.
We will then move into Paul's letters to the Thessalonians. Paul is sharing with the church as a Pastor tending his flock. He cautions them to be patient and steady. Paul urges them to live worthily for the day Christ returns and not to tolerate idleness. A prescription for health that has equal potency today.
Sunday School classes for children in Preschool-Grade 6 are utilizing the Growing in Christ curriculum from Concordia Publishing House. Growing in Christ is a Sunday School curriculum rich in God's Holy Word. Students will be learning all the major stories of the Old and New Testament and see how God weaves His plan of salvation in Christ throught the lives of ordinary men, women, and children. Jesus says, "Already you are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.
